Narrator: The heavens are polarized into two sides, that is: Hokuto (North Dipper) and Nanto (South Dipper). These poles are the cosmic forces of man and woman, Yin and Yang. And the deadly martial arts Hokuto Shin Ken and Nanto Sei Ken. These two groups are not allowed to fight each other; if they do, this world will be destroyed. When the North and South become one, a savior will manifest itself.

Shin: Back off! Kenshiro... you've become successor to Hokuto Shin Ken, but you're no match for the Nanto Sei Ken style!
Yuria: Shin! Have you forgotten the code: North and South shall not fight?
Shin: I've ignored that crap a long time ago! (Ken and Shin fight) Nanto Hellkill Fist!
Yuria: Kenshiro! Kenshiro!
Jagi: Will you look at that? Is that the successor of Hokuto Shin Ken, big brother?
Yuria: Kenshiro...

Raoh: Old man. If you intend to crush my fists, then let's see you try! Even though you're my father, you cannot defeat me.
Ryuken: Raoh, it has already been ordained. Since you've not been chosen as successor to Hokuto Shin Ken, be silent!
Raoh: Old man. You've made a poor choice as successor. Kenshiro is dead!
Ryuken: What?!
Raoh: Hokuto Shin Ken has given way to this! (Raoh smashes down statues) Any who attempts to break my fists will be dealt with in the same manner!
Ryuken: Raoh, what are you thinking of doing? You cannot abuse Hokuto Shin Ken!
Raoh: I don't follow anybody's orders. My desire is the Heavens! I will rule it. No mere successor to Hokuto Shin Ken is a threat to me!
Ryuken: Fine. But you leave me choice except to crush your fists!

Elder: Hokuto Shin Ken!
Narrator: Hokuto Shin Ken was the name of a fearsome form of martial arts in China, long ago. It concentrated the energy of a person and focused it to 100% effectiveness, in a single assault. By pushing secret pressure points, one could destroy his enemy's from the inside out.
Ken: My name is Ken. Kenshiro, that is. I hear they call you Rin. Did you summon me? (Rin shakes her head) Rin, you're a peculiar child. It's okay. Don't move.
Bat: What was that?
Ken: I pressed a pressure point so she can speak again.
Bat: Rin speak? Oh give me a break!
Ken: There are seeds in this bag. Perhaps you will be able to find flowers even in this age.
Rin: Is he going away?
Bat: Yeah. I never seen a fellow like him before. Rin... You...!
Rin: Ken. Ken! KEN!

Jagi: So they have finally come! Airi come here! I have something interesting planned for you!
Airi: Yes, my master.

Heart: So you're the lil' feller called Kenshiro, eh? I am Heart. Lord Jagi has ordered me to kill you.
Ken: Pigs ought to sleep in a pigpen!
Heart: It takes a lot of courage to call me a pig! Strike me from any side! (Ken attacks) My flesh is like rubber, and you cannot reach my pressure points because of that. And so, I have caused the death of many with my style! Aw! What's the matter? Are you finished already?
Rei: Hey, what's wrong? Shall I kill him?
Ken: That's not necessary. Hokuto Shin Ken cannot be beaten!
Heart: Is that so? Well, then die! You fool! (Ken performs the Penetrating Punch) My flesh! My flesh!
Ken: Your fat will now harden. So die!
Heart: What was that? What the... Hidebu! (Heart explodes)
Ken: Jagi...
Jagi: So you survived, Kenshiro.
Rei: So you're the one!
Ken: That's right. He's the one who killed your parents and abducted Airi.
Jagi: I heard there was a man of the Nanto Suichou Ken style at that village. So, you're the one, eh? C'mere!
Airi: My master! What will you have me do? I will do anything!
Rei: Airi? AIRI!
Airi: I understand I am being sold to a new master. Please treat me as you like. I will do anything.

Ken: Yuria belongs to the same Nanto bloodline as yourself. My father, Ryuken, gave me the successorship of Hokuto Shin Ken and Yuria as my bride-to-be.
Rei: Your father wanted to unite North and South together and set into motion the harmony of this age. Kenshiro, you're a peculiar man. You remind me of the earth that once was. Maybe it's your fate to subdue the violence of this world.
Ken: I do not want to resort to barbaric means. All I want is to get Yuria back and live under the code of Hokuto Shin Ken in peace.
Rei: Kenshiro. Your enemies will never allow that to happen.

Soldier: Ken-Ou has come! Ken-Ou is the Supreme Ruler of the End of the Century! Make way for Ken-Ou! This will become a mountain of destruction and slaughtered carcasses after Ken-Ou's army passes!
Kiba Daioh: Ken-Ou! This is my territory! I am the King of the Kiba Clan. We do what we like here. Why have you come? There's nothing that could interest you on this route. Go back to where you came! If you don't, you'll pay for it!
Uigul: Forward! (the armies clash)
Kiba Daioh: What's the matter with them? (Kiba turns body to iron) Ka Mountain Steel Armor Technique! My body is now as strong as tempered steel! Try and attack me from any side! Uigul: You can never attack one such as Ken-Ou!
Kiba Daioh: I'll crush your boasts to smithereens! (Raoh shatters blade) Damn you! I don't know what style you used, but I'll smash you! (Raoh strikes him) I don't know what you struck me with, but I told you I cannot be harmed. Hmm? What's the purpose of holding your hand out like that? Very well. Strike me if you can! (Raoh blasts him through two mountains) Didn't I say you cannot hurt meeeee... (he explodes)
Raoh: He'll never be of any use in this age...

Shin: Yuria! It seems I must go out to do battle again. Ken-Ou is extending his borders again. He may try to take southern cross, as well.
Yuria: More bloodshed.
Shin: Is that all you have to say? My battle will be a matter if life and death!
Colonel: My Lord! Ken-Ou's army has reached the G point.
Shin: What? Ken-Ou? What is he up to now?
Colonel: One more thing. Lord Jagi, successor to Hokuto Shin Ken, has fallen.
Shin: Hmm?
Colonel: The one who felled him was the man with seven scars: Kenshiro!

Ken: Where's Yuria?
Shin: If you want her, come and get her by yourself! Die, Kenshiro! (attacks Ken) You're not the same Kenshiro I knew...

Rin: I'm certain of it, since I know about these things.
Bat: But Yuria is supposed to be at Southern Cross. That's why Ken went there!
Rin: Still, I say that was Lady Yuria. Somehow she was brought here.
Rei: Bat. If Rin says that was here, then it must be so.
Bat: Yeah. We probably met her somewhere before. Say! Why don't I sneak in and check it out!
Rin: But, Bat! How are you going to sneak in?
Bat: Cassandra has a dungeon. Yuria must be there.
Rin: Bat...
Bat: I've made my living being a sneak! Leave it up to me! OK? All we need is to find the entrance to the underground water system and... let's see... it used to be on the east side... hmm... (in the underground) Hey! There's no reason for you to come, too! I'm just going to confirm if it's Yuria or not!
Rin: I want to meet Lady Yuria. I want to renew her hope by showing her this flower!

Yuria: Something terrible will happen. Our fates will not allow us to be together. So I have resigned to stay here.
Bat: What? Ken only has your rescue in mind.
Yuria: Leave! Hurry!
Rin: Lady Yuria! Stay healthy.
Yuria: Kenshiro...
Raoh: Where did you get that flower? Flowers are not supposed to grow in this dark age! Flowers are the wish for the future! Now now!

Soldier: Ken-Ou's public execution is about to begin!
Uigul: Behold this flower!
Old Woman: I can't believe I'm seeing a flower!
Man: The earth is still alive!
Uigul: Whoever made this flower is among you! Come on out, whoever you are! Or else we'll execute this woman!
Rin: Lady Yuria is going to get killed!
Bat: Rin! (Rei stops her)
Rin: Rei!
Rei: I'll rescue Yuria. I am Rei of the Nanto Suichou Ken style. Ken-Ou is next in line but it is Kenshiro who is the successor to Hokuto Shin Ken!
Raoh: Kenshiro?
Rei: That flower was produced by the love of Kenshiro and Yuria, and with the nurturing care of Rin!
Raoh: Love? In this Dark Age, love is futile! Uigul!
Uigul: Rei! Feel the wrath of Lord Uigul!
Rei: I came to topple Ken-Ou! Not to waste my time on maggots like you. (Uigul attacks, but...)
Uigul: What?!
Rei: What's the matter? You move to slow, you gonna bore me to death? (Uigul brings out his multiple whips) I guess I won't be able to tie them all into a know this time.
Uigul: Tai-Mountain Style Thousand Streaking Whips! (Rei leaps over him)
Rei: Ken-Ou! You're next!
Uigul: Hey! You... (falls apart)
Raoh: You are good, Rei of the Nanto Suichou Ken sect.
Rin: Rei! Stop! You mustn't fight him!
Rei: Rin. Hmph! Don't worry. I must fight him, since I owe both you and Ken my life. The next age is for you children.
Raoh: Oh, it seems you understand a little of what is going on. If that's the case, then don't you think my rulership needs to continue still, Rei?
Rei: This age is moving forwards. Die, here and now, Ken-Ou!
Raoh: Very well. It is perhaps our fate to fight each other. Come and attack me!
Rei: Get off your horse, Ken-Ou!
Raoh: You expect to topple me with your own hands? There is nobody on this world who can do so!
Rei: You'll find a disadvantage atop your horse!

Raoh: (laughs) I've dropped the name Raoh a long time ago. I am the supreme ruler of the century's end, the legendary Ken-Ou! Kenshiro! If you want Yuria back, then kill me!
Rei: Wait, Kenshiro!
Ken: Rei!
Rei: Ken. If you fight him now, you'll be killed! You're both equally matched. Even if you kill him, you'll also be slain. Do not fight for my sake. You mustn't die. You must live for Rin, Bat, Yuria... and for the next generation. Don't die, Kenshiro!
Rin: Rei! (Rei dies)
Ken: Raoh, you must die! For the sake of the 2000 year old Law of Hokuto Shin Ken!
Raoh: Get angry, Kenshiro! Rage on! (Ken tries to attack but is repelled) What's wrong, Kenshiro? What you saw was the power of my "Tou-Ki"...my aura! Let me tell you one more thing. It was I who killed our father Ryuken!! (Ken gets really angry) Your anger will show me your aura!! (Ken's aura blazes out) Whoa, there, Koku-Ou! This is the first time another aura has startled him. I can see it...I can see your aura! Come forth, Kenshiro! Let us see what you're made of!
Ken: You will observe your own death!
Yuria: Ken!
Rin: Lady Yuria!
Raoh: So, you've injured me. It seems I must fight you us an equal! I must crush you, so you do not stand in my way of finding the girl I've heard in the distance! (they begin a fist fight) I've broken your bones as well! (knocks Ken down) Kenshiro! (they continue fighting, beating the hell out of each other) Kenshiro! You've become very powerful, indeed!
Ken: Raoh...
Raoh: My fists are invincible! With these, I will destroy the 2000 year history of Hokuto, forever! (just as they are about to kill each other...)
Rin: DON'T DO IT! Please stop it!
Raoh: So, it was you...
Rin: Please don't suffer yourselves any further...
Raoh: So it was you whom I have been looking for! Fear not! Kenshiro shall not die. Nor must I die. I wonder why it was that you'd still be a child and I didn't realize it? Rin. Hurry and grow up. Do you understand why, Rin? Kenshiro! This would have been the final battle, if Rin hadn't showed up. Perhaps I would have died as a result. Kenshiro. Rin! This is not the end. This is the beginning if our war...
(Raoh rides away)

Rin: He went searching for Yuria.
Bat: I see. He just took off.
Rin: Ken will find Lady Yuria, and they'll be back to find us. Bat! Bat! It's plant life! (they see the seedlings)
Bat: The dead earth has been revived!
